Ground Rents With Short Leases

If you are selling a freehold ground rent where the leases are under 80 years we would like to hear from you. Short Leases Under 80 Years

 

We only purchase freehold ground rents where the leases are under 80 years. We can help and advise you in connection with the legal notices that may need to be served on your lessees. We can also deal with your lessees if you prefer in connection with the section 5 notices that may need to be served. In some cases it may not be necessary to serve these notices.

Section 5 Notices

 

Once a sale is agreed we will serve the relevant section 5 notices on your behalf. Your lessees have got a two month period in which to decide whether or not they would like to purchase the freehold themselves. Once this period has ended, provided the lessees don’t exercise their right to buy we will be able to proceedtro completion immediately.
